When a joy runs past you
take the time to gather up
all the Tiny glowing beads
it leaves behind it
those are seeds
plant them in your heart
nourish them with
smiles and gratitude
sprinkles of delight
they will grow into
new joys that pop up
like dandelions
adding color and surprise
on the green lawns
of otherwise
mundane moments
Much of life is consumed by routines. With practice, we can recognize and find delight in the miracle of each moment.
In your journal:
- what else does joy leave behind?
- How do you nourish seeds of joy?
- How can you find joy in the routine?
