Delights of the Day (for the week)

As I go through my day, I watch for moments when the corners of my mouth turn up and my heart lifts. I note these moments of delight  in my journal and consider their patterns  here. I encourage you to be on the lookout for your Delight of the Day.

The other day I was watching a couple kids playing in the park across the street. I was reminded of two things:

**Watching children play invites us into joy. It reminds us of the playful place inside us.

** Being playful doesn’t have to stop. We can skip and giggle into old age. Perhaps we can’t do it physically, but we can keep the play in our imaginations right up until our last breaths. Reminding myself of my laughter yoga practice, I say “very good, very good, YAY!”

May you find delight in each day.
