My 16-year-old daughter has been home this week on a break between school and her summer internship. I love being around her and it doesn’t much matter what we’re doing.
Today the World Cup made my Delight of the Day, even though I know very little about soccer and wasn’t even watching it. The sound of my daughter watching it with her friends in the next room is enough to warm my heart and make me smile.
Spending time with someone you love brings joy, even if you’re just running errands.
