Delights of the Day (for the week)

As I go through my day, I watch for moments when the corners of mouth turn up and my heart lifts. I note these moments of delight, capture them in my Journal and log them here. I encourage you to be on the lookout for your Delight of the Day.

My outer life has recently included trying to help some friends resolve interpersonal conflict and an organization plan for the future. These can both be crazy making. If I focus on trying to predict or control (a) human behavior and/or (b) future circumstances. I watched myself become crabby and out of sorts until, yesterday, I realized why I was crazy.

I need to focus on the beauty in each moment. That is the key, for me, to return to sanity.

Here are my delights for the week:

** Being with members of my support group reminds me that creative energy is there when we reach for it.
** People get goofy for babies. Thank goodness!
** I am so lucky I can share my writing by blogging.
** A medical procedure I was undergoing went smoothly and cheerfully.
** When I focus on loving even difficult conversations come with gifts.
** Participated in a guided meditation that helped me return to this moment.

May you find the beauty and delight in this moment.
