As I go through my day, I watch for moments when the corners of mouth turn up and my heart lifts. I note these moments of delight, capture them in my Journal and log them here. I encourage you to be on the lookout for your Delight of the Day.
Maybe it’s because thoughts of love are in the air this week, what with Valentine’s Day and all, but I’ve been conscious of the gift of spending time with people I love. There is something delicious about being around people with whom I am totally relaxed and whose way of being in the world delights me.
I got to spend some quiet, relaxed time with my husband.
Was touched by a sermon about being the light of the world.
Enjoyed a surge of energy when I watched a video about entrepreneurship.
My family went together to a performance of Ten Thousand Things’ Music Man
We had a family discussion about my daughter’s weekend plans. It’s fun to watch the father-daughter interaction!
