As I go through my day, I watch for moments when the corners of mouth turn up and my heart lifts. I note these moments of delight, capture them in my Journal and log them here. I encourage you to be on the lookout for your Delight of the Day.

I love the explosion of activity and creativity that is the Internet. It’s fun to see so many bloggers and vloggers. On the other hand, it’s easy to feel lost and insignificant. I am such a tiny drop in this big ocean. Today I remembered that I create to stay sane… That makes my little YOPP necessary and important.

Here are my Delights for this week (with parenthetical reminders of my values):

** Discovered the work of science writer Dan Hurley. (Learning)

** One of my ecclesiastical art designs was rendered in icing for a cake! (Connecting)

** Surrounded by beautiful snowscapes. (Nature)

** Lost myself in painting! (Creative flow)

** Enjoyed Jeff Dunham‘s live show. (Humor)

** Wrote liturgy reminding us of our wholeness. (Spirituality)

** Remembered the YOPP. (Philosophy)

(Remember your YOPP.)
